Murfreesboro Christmas Parade Canceled

(MURFREESBORO) A dramatic increase in COVID-19 cases locally and across the nation has created a need to cancel this year's Murfreesboro Christmas Parade. Coordinator Lee Ann Walker said . . .



Murfreesboro Park's Director Nate Williams agreed . . .



The parade route is normally lined with crowds, and there are usually over 200 groups participating in the parade. Seventy-two organizations have applied this year to be in the parade.

Again, the 2020 Murfreesboro Christmas Parade has been cancelled.

However, with the prospect of COVID-19 vaccinations on the horizon--WGNS and the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department look forward to being with you on the second Sunday in 2021!
