(MURFREESBORO) Another fatal shooting near college student apartments. Around 12:50AM early Saturday (10/24/2020) morning, a man was found in his car with a gunshot wound at the corner of Stonewall and North Tennessee Boulevards.
22-year-old Blake Boulton was still alive when paramedics from Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department and Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services treated him on-the-scene. At that time, the Nashville resident was still inside his 2015 Chevrolet Camaro.
Boulton was later pronounced deceased.
Detectives from the Murfreesboro Police Criminal Investigation Division are trying to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting, and why the Nashville man was in the area. They are also seeking to acquire any home surveillance video from residents in the neighborhood.
