Blackman defeated Siegel on the road Friday night 30-7. It was a rain soaked second half, which saw the game delayed nearly 45-minutes due to lightning in the area. All of the scoring took place in the first half.

After taking the opening drive to the Siegel 12-yard line, Blackman senior quarterback Drew Beam threw a 12-yard pass to Todd Lark for a 7-0 lead. After recovering an on-side kick, they scored again on an Andrew Hudson-Jackson run. On the ensuing kickoff, the Stars' Maddux Purvis ran it in for 60-yards:

Early in the second quarter, Beam would find Lark again - this time on a long bomb:

With the Stars backed up on the next drive, a bad punt snap through the endzone put two more on the scoreboard for the Blaze with a safety. Beam would hook up with Lark for a 65-yard TD after the Siegel kickoff to make the halftime score 30-7.

Then the rain and lightning set in. After the long delay, the two teams finshed out the game.

The Blaze defense held the Stars to just 87-yard rushing for the game.

Blackman's Jaylyn Pleasant had 17-carries for 101-yards and Hudson-Jackson 89-yards on 16-carries. Lark has 178-yards receiving and three touchdowns.

Siegel's Kendall Martin had a second quarter interception and a third quarter fumble recovery.

Siegel will get a COVID win over Rockvale next week and will play East Nashville in their final game of the season. Blackman travels to Cookeville with a fourth-place playoff berth on the line for the winner.
