La Vergne boys basketball coach and athletics director Jeremy Moore has resigned to take a head coaching job in neighboring Williamson County.
He has been named the new head coach at Centennial High School. Moore has coached the Wolverines for nine years - in two different stints. Before becoming head coach, he was an assistant under former head coach Barry Wortman, who is at Blackman.
New principal Theo Hatchett is not only now looking for a new boys basketball coach, but also a girls basketball coach with the resignation of Kim Walker last month as girls coach.
