Katie Goins is an 8th grader at Central Magnet School. She learned early in life to volunteer and make our community better. On May 10th she is organizing MURFREESBORO BOOK DAY in pavilion “one” at the Old Fort Park. This is her Girl Scout Silver Award Project, and it is to raise awareness of the importance of reading for area youth.
