Vernon Mills is a volunteer firefighter with the Walter Hill Fire Department. In addition to fighting fires, Vernon does much electrical maintenance at the fire hall. He drives the big tanker truck, fights fires, helps with fund-raisers, and takes time from with his family to give-back to the community.
